1. Service Engagement
Ready to declutter? Our journey begins with a 20-minute digital consultation. We assess your physical space, discuss your functional goals, and provide a tailored estimate. Don't worry, we're here to help, not to judge. By booking our services, you agree to provide reasonable access to the service areas and clear communication regarding your priorities.
2. Payment & Minimums
We value our team's expertise. All on-site organization sessions require a minimum of three hours. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your date on our calendar. We accept all major credit cards and digital transfers. Final payment is due immediately upon the completion of each session. Why do we do this? It ensures our specialists can dedicate their full focus to your project without administrative delays.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens, we get it. However, because we reserve specific blocks of time for your home, we require a 48-hour notice for any rescheduling. Cancellations made within less than 48 hours will result in a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled session value. It's essentially a way for us to protect our hard-working organizers' schedules.
4. Client Participation
Will you be there? While we can do the heavy lifting, your input on what to keep, donate, or discard is vital during the sorting phase. If you choose to be absent, Marmot Nest will rely on the pre-discussed criteria, but we can't be held responsible for the accidental disposal of items that were not clearly marked as "keep." To ensure a smooth process, please mention any high-value items beforehand.
5. Safety & Liability
We treat your home with the utmost care. However, Marmot Nest is not a professional moving or cleaning company. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or breakage of items that are fragile due to age or poor condition. Our team will not handle hazardous materials, heavy furniture over 50 lbs, or biohazardous waste. For such needs, we recommend specialized vendors.
6. Confidentiality
Your privacy is our priority. We'll never share photos of your space without your explicit written consent. We respect the intimate nature of home organization and maintain a strict non-disclosure policy regarding all client data and home contents.
